Wide angle with macro lens attachment are great to have, and the quality differs from manufacturers to manufacturers. The RSP or recommended selling price remains the distributor’s right or is it so? We have many customers praising the usefulness of the creation of these little known camera lenses, while some simply sting at their purpose. However so, it is the particular consumer’s right to justify what he or she paid. If the customer feels happy about both the price and quality, then what is left to be said?
Sitting on the fence, we like to stress that the quality and performance of these wide angle macro lens depends on the user’s adaptability, experience and creativity. We cannot simply blame the horse for losing the race to a donkey. The handlers may be the issue.
Just another off topic case on wide angle converters. Panasonic releases 4 different conversion lens for use with its Panasonic Lumix G lenses in early 2012 and the price tags on these converters are on the high side. As for the difference and similarity of these wide angle macro lens, there may be difference in terms of quality and durability despite the similarity of their looks.
